Many children love their grandmothers. Unfortunately, not all are blessed with a great loving grandmother. George happens to be one of the unlucky ones. His grandmother isn't very well in health. She is grumpy, bossy and everything but loving and kind. He often has to look after her and fetch her medicine when it is time for her to take it. Despite all that he has done to help her, she often criticize and bully him.
Just like everyone of us, George grew fed up and decided to take actions. That is when he plotted plans to use most of his grandmother tricks back on her. Since it is his duty to bring her the medicine she needs, he sees this as a golden opportunity to execute his plan. He invented his own medicine by mixing "ingredients" he could find in his household. You simply  cannot believe what he mixed but no worries. Dahl was very nice that he cautioned his readers to not try it at home. Very thoughtful of him. Else, many around us will no longer be humans. =p

I've not heard about this book until I bought the set of 15. A friend of mine mentioned that this is one of the greatest book. I was soooo tempted to read then and she is right! It is awesome or shall I say marvellous? ;)

Wow, I wonder how the grandmother felt after taking George's 'medicine'. It already sounds suspenseful. :) This is also my first time hearing of this book.

You gotta read this one! :)
Sometimes kids need to take actions and fight back! Ironically, after the med effect on his grandmother, no one scolded him. Mmm...I better stop...else I'll spoil it!hihi
